The Counseling Department is dedicated to facilitating the academic, social, and emotional growth of each student. Our role is to maximize student success by counseling students, meeting with parents, consulting with staff, and integrating the school's guidance workshops into the instructional program. We provide a supportive environment to a diverse student body, while serving as the liaison for numerous resources within the school, such as SPARK and faculty advisory for school clubs. Additionally, we offer resources for outside counseling referrals and community service/volunteer opportunities. Advisement and counseling includes writing the Secondary School Report (letters of recommendation for all seniors), grade advisement, tracking student attendance and academic progress, and grade specific workshops.
